APS to Honor District’s Top Seniors at 2022 Valedictorian-Salutatorian-STAR Student Luncheon, Friday

34 students will be honored in the Ocean Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium

 

ATLANTA – Atlanta Public Schools will honor its top scholars for the Class of 2022 at its Valedictorian-Salutatorian-STAR Student Luncheon, Friday at 11 a.m., in the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium (246 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard, NW).

The Class of 2022 APS Val-Sal-STAR Student awards ceremony is an annual event. The Atlanta Board of Education allows each high school to identify a senior as valedictorian and one as salutatorian in accordance with administrative regulations set forth by the superintendent. These students are selected at the end of the first semester of their senior year.

The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia’s outstanding high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development.

All 34 students will receive a laptop and a medal.

WHO:            The top senior scholars attending one of the 15 APS high schools/academies.

 

WHAT:          2022 APS Valedictorian-Salutatorian-STAR Student Luncheon, featuring 34 students.

 

WHEN:         Friday, April 29 | 11 AM – 1 PM

 

WHERE:       Georgia Aquarium, Oceans Ballroom | 246 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard, NW

 

PARKING & ENTRANCE:             Unfortunately, there is a charge for parking. Parking is conveniently located in the Georgia Aquarium parking garage on Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard.
