Atlanta Public Schools to Host State of the District Presentation, Media Roundtable, Monday
This year’s event will feature presentations from district senior administrators and will be streamed live on YouTube
ATLANTA – Atlanta Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Danielle Battle and her senior cabinet members will host the district’s annual State of the District event, Monday, Feb. 19, at the Junior Achievement Discovery Center in the Georgia World Congress Center.
Dr. Battle and senior administrators will discuss a number of topics related to the success of the district, including finances, facilities, innovative instructional programs and initiatives, technology, human resources, and safety and security.
Following the discussion, Dr. Battle and her senior leadership team will take questions during a media roundtable session. (Note: Any updates from law enforcement on the incident that took place at Mays High School this week will be announced prior to the media roundtable.)
