    Fickett Elementary School is a neighborhood school located in the heart of the Ben Hill community in Southwest Atlanta.  Since the doors of Fickett Elementary opened, we have prided ourselves on providing quality instruction through innovative teaching methods.  We have a highly skilled staff dedicated to serving our stakeholders (parents and community members) and serving the needs of our student population. We treasure our community because strength is rooted in the beauty of diversity, the wisdom of a shared vision, and the uncompromising love of children.

    Fickett Elementary School received a $25,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS (NYSE:UPS). The grant will be used toward the implementation of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program that will help expose students to career paths such as engineering, robotics, computer science, and medicine.

  • UPS donates $15,000 to Fickett's STEM Program

    UPS supports the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Program at Fickett Elementary school through its generous donation of funds. Students have the opportunity to engage in robotics, clay animation, video production, and hands-on engineering projects. Twenty Fickett students also received scholarships to attend GA Tech's KIDS Club camp and KSU's Rocketry camp.
