Ms. Melanie Sithole
Melanie Sithole arrives at TAG as an experienced elementary educator, but in addition to her role as an educator, she is first and foremost a wife and mother of two boys. The 2022-2023 school year will mark her 12th year in education. Over the course of the last twelve years, she has served as a special education teacher, MTSS Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal in various schools across Atlanta Public Schools. She is excited about her new role as your principal, as it will provide her the chance to work collaboratively with teachers and parents daily, while also remaining connected to our core business of teaching and learning.

Ms. Dana Bowden
Dana Bowden is entering her 20th year in education. Starting her teaching career in Dekalb County Schools, Ms. Bowden returned to North Carolina and earned her Master's in Educational Leadership from North Carolina Central University. After earning her Master's, Ms. Bowden worked in various roles including District STEM Coordinator, District Transformation Coach, District Curriculum Specialist, and principal of STEM Middle School. As a student in North Carolina State University's doctoral program, Ms. Bowden earned her Specialist Degree. Returning to Georgia, Ms. Bowden was excited to be a part of the inception of Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy and TAG's first-year faculty and staff. At Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy, she has served as Grade Level Coach, Master Teacher Leader, Instructional Coach, and now Assistant Principal. In her new role as Assistant Principal, she is committed to continuing TAG's legacy of excellence!

Mr. Marco Pitts
Marco A. Pitts graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2003 and 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Health and Behavior and Master's Degree in School Counseling. He later received his Leadership Endorsement from Clark Atlanta University and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University. Mr. Pitts is entering his 16th year in education. He spent 7 years in Fulton County Schools as an Elementary School Counselor. He later transitioned to Atlanta Public Schools as a middle school counselor for four years. Mr. Pitts has served as the Assistant Principal of Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy for the last five years.
