Welcome to the Lion's Pride, where every student is being equipped to learn, lead, and roar! Our goal at Bazoline E. Usher Elementary School is simple. We expect all students to learn and achieve to their highest potential, as the faculty and staff work to ensure a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for all students to excel in. We are excited about the all the wonderful things that we have in store for the 2018 - 2019 school year. We hope you will join us on our triumphal journey to success and student achievement. Welcome!
Power Up is cancelled
Based on current health guidelines, Power Up is cancelled. Designated funds in support of these programs may be repurposed for fall extended learning. This will take into account the disruption in learning caused by COVID-19. A final decision regarding the summer bridge programs will be forthcoming.
There's a reason for everything. So why the lion? Surely there are plenty of great mascots that inspire. However, we found that the lion, the preverbal King of the Jungle, would best represent our school and learning community. Lion's work together, hunt together, live together, play together, and survive together. That's what it means to be part of the the Usher Lion Pride!
