PHYSICAL EDUCATION
VISION
Our vision is for students to embrace a healthier active lifestyle which will
EMPOWER them for SUCCESS in the
21th Century.
WHY IS PHYSICAL EDUCATION IMPORTANT?
Physical Education offers the chance for your child to develop habits for lifetime fitness and health. During this school year, parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s physical development and fitness. Children need a minimum of at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Parents, take advantage of the opportunities to go for a walk, a short bike ride, or to toss a ball back and forth with your child. It is so very important for children to see their parents being physically active and health conscious. Remember, the decisions you make as parents regarding fitness, will impact on the decisions of your child(ren).
