Graduation is more than just a ceremony; it’s a celebration of perseverance, dedication, and achievement. Atlanta Public Schools is proud to recognize the Class of 2025 Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Georgia Institute of Technology McCamish Pavilion (965 Fowler St. NW Atlanta, GA 30313). To ensure a smooth arrival to the McCamish Pavilion, guests are encouraged to review the commencement guidelines.

Ticketed Entry
Guests attending the ceremonies must present an official commencement ticket to gain entry.
Please note: ADA ticket holders will receive 2 tickets; one for the attendee in need of ADA seating and one ticket for their companion. Guests may request an ADA ticket at the venue ticket booth.
Clear Bag Policy
Guests must adhere to Georgia Tech’s Clear Bag Policy. Please bring a small bag (no larger than 4.5” X 6.5”) or a clear bag to the facility. A bag valet will be available for guests at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
Venue Security
Upon arrival, all guests are required to enter through security checkpoints. Outside food, beverage, and weapons, including those carried with a permit, are not permitted.
Public Transportation
Georgia Tech is served by the Midtown MARTA transit station. This is the closest station to the commencement ceremonies.
Parking Information
A detailed parking map, which includes an area layout, pricing, and shuttle service locations for Georgia Tech campus parking decks is available for download on the district’s graduation website. Guests may use the following parking lots upon arrival: Family Housing (Lot ER66), North Deck/State St. (Lot W23), Peters Deck (Lot E-52), and Klaus (Lot E40). Prices may vary. ADA parking is available along Fowler Street.
Shuttle Service Locations
- Fowler Street located in front of the McCamish Pavilion
- State Street located in front of North Deck (W23)
- Ferst Drive located in front of Klaus Deck (E40)

Guests should adhere to Georgia Tech's clear bag policy.
Note: Medical bags and strollers are permitted.Approved Bags
- Tote bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar), AND/OR
- Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a hand), can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in a permissible 12”x6”x12” clear bag (diaper bags are not permitted).
Prohibited Bags
Prohibited items include but are not limited to:
- purses larger than a 4.5" x 6.5” clutch bag
- coolers
- water bottles
- briefcases
- backpacks
- fanny packs
- grocery bags
- cinch bags
- non-approved chair backs and seat cushions**
- luggage of any kind
- computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size
