My name is Mesha Bolton and I’m very excited to continue this next chapter in my journey as a part of the Virginia-Highland family! This is my 19^th year as an educator and my 9^th year as an elementary school counselor. I am passionate about supporting students socially, emotionally, and academically for success in life. I began my career in education as a special education teacher. During that role, I found myself wanting to be an advocate for change. I later transitioned into school counseling and I truly believe I found my calling.

I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate studies and earned a degree in Counseling and Psychology. After relocating to Georgia, I attended The University of Georgia where I received my education specialist degree in Professional School Counseling. My personal time spent outside of school I enjoy with my family. My husband and boys are super active in sports and other activities. When I’m not “Mom Ubering”, I love attending concerts, traveling as a foodie to new places, and spending time with my friends.
