My name is Charlie Held.  Prior to working in Virginia-Highland Elementary, I was a teacher in Fulton County Public Schools for five years. I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at the University of Michigan in 2018 and recently graduated with a Master's degree in Mathematics Education (PreK-8) at the University of Georgia.

In the classroom, I strive to create an environment that supports every student's growth and success. I understand that each child learns differently, and I'm committed to finding the best approach for each individual. Outside of the classroom, I love cycling through Atlanta and backpacking in the mountains.
