Mrs. de la Sota is looking forward to being the Spanish teacher at Virginia-Highland Elementary! She is a native Spanish speaker from Argentina and is passionate about providing each student with an equitable opportunity to excel in learning a second language. In her prior positions as Spanish teacher and bilingual community liaison at SPARK, Ms. de la Sota was instrumental in connecting students and caregivers with resources needed to help improve academic results and attendance. She also did a phenomenal job organizing cultural and holiday celebrations at the school. Outside of work, Ms. de la Sota enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and is a big fan of Argentina soccer.
