DRESS CODE
Kimberly is a voluntary uniform school. Uniforms are NOT required but recommended.
All students are asked to wear school uniforms to promote and enhance the goals and objectives of the Therrell Cluster Schools (Kimberly Elementary School). Boys should wear black or khaki slacks and white, black, or red shirts. All boys’ shirts must be tucked inside their shorts or slacks. Girls should wear khaki or black skirts, pants or jumpers and white, black or red blouses. Students are asked to wear uniforms Monday through Thursday. Friday is School Spirit Day and students are encouraged to wear our school colors, black and red, or college-related spirit wear. Sneakers are required for all students to participate in physical education classes. Students shouldn't wear leggings as outerwear. They must be worn under pants, shorts, or skirts. Torn or ripped clothing above the knee isn't permitted.
§ Girls should not wear flip-flops to ensure safety while moving throughout the school building. Sneakers are required for all students to participate in physical education classes.
§ Boys must not wear sagging pants or flip-flops. Belts should be worn to keep pants fitted in an appropriate manner. Shirts should be neatly tucked into pants.
The principal reserves the right to determine what is appropriate attire for school. If clothing is deemed inappropriate, a parent may be called to bring a change of clothing or your student may be asked to wear clothes that we have available at school.
