    Increase in Limits for Rent and Utility Assistance
    • The maximum amount of assistance has increased from $3,000 to $5,000.
    • For Rental Assistance Households: The eligible AMI for rental households has increased from 60% to 80% AMI.
    • Mortgage payments are now eligible.
    • For Mortgage Assistance Households: The eligible AMI for mortgage assistance must be equal to or less than 100% AMI.

    Eligibility is still subject to provision of required documentation. In addition to calling 211 to begin the application process, those seeking assistance can visit relief.uwga.org or text C19-ERA to 898-211. Please use the 211 phone number and/or use the link to the application at relief.uwga.org. Residents in need of assistance CAN SELECT AVLF or CHRIS 180 if you choose to, otherwise you will be directed to an appropriate partner who can help with the application.
