APS Summer Academic Recovery Academy (ARA), an essential component of our APS three-year Academic Recovery Plan 2020-2023, is a full-day summer program for elementary and middle grade levels that focuses on academic and whole child support to address learning loss and unfinished learning, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.Students will receive specially designed instruction in literacy and mathematics in an engaging environment with embedded social-emotional learning. Students will also participate in hands-on activities through Power Up Programming in the afternoon. Atlanta Public Schools will provide transportation, breakfast, and lunch to all full-day participants. We invite you to register your child for Summer ARA through March 31, 2023.
