    Public Comment Protocol

    Public Comment Format

    • Up to 20 minutes will be set aside for public commentary at select meetings. Public comment is open to all.

    • (FACE TO FACE) 15 minutes prior to all Go Team Meetings a clipboard will be posted for anyone who wishes to sign up to address the Go Team. The speaker will indicate their name and topic of address.

    • (VIRTUAL) At the beginning of the meeting the principal will announce for visitors to indicate their interest in public comment by listing first and last name & the topic they plan to speak about for up to 2 minutes.  For those with phone access only they can state at this  time and be added or if less than 10 sign up we will open to additional at the designated public Comment time.

    • The principal will introduce the Speakers.

    •  Each speaker will have 2 minutes to share with the Go Team.

    •  The GO Team will not directly address concerns but may add items to future agendas or later assist speakers with needs.

    • The Vice-Chairperson will time the speakers and at 2:00 minutes thank them for sharing.

    •  If there are no speakers for public commentary at the published meeting start time the Go Team will proceed with their agenda.

    •  If there are more than 10 speakers for any public commentary, only the first 10 will have the opportunity to speak at the meeting.

    Formato de comentarios públicos de GO team 

    • Se reservarán hasta 20 minutos para comentarios públicos en reuniones seleccionadas. 

    • Los comentarios públicos están abiertos a todos. 

    • (CARA A CARA) 15 minutos antes de todas las reuniones del equipo GO, se publicará un portapapeles para cualquier persona que desee registrarse para comunicarse al equipo GO. El participante indicará su nombre y tema de dirección. 

    • (VIRTUAL) Al comienzo de la reunión, el director anunciará a los visitantes que indiquen su interés en los comentarios del público enumerando el nombre y apellido y el tema sobre el que planean hablar durante un máximo de 2 minutos. Para aquellos con acceso telefónico, pueden indicar en ese momento y ser agregados o si se registran menos de 10 en total, abriremos a más en el tiempo designado para comentarios públicos.  

    • El director presentará a los oradores.  

    • Cada orador tendrá 2 minutos para compartir con el equipo de Go.  

    • El Equipo GO no responderá directamente a los comentarios, pero puede agregar elementos a las agendas futuras o ayudar más tarde a los oradores con sus necesidades. 

    • El vicepresidente calculará el tiempo los oradores y, a las 2:00 minutos, les agradecerá por compartir.

    • Si no hay oradores para comentarios públicos a la hora de inicio de la reunión publicada, el Equipo de Go continuará con su agenda.  

    • Si hay más de 10 oradores para cualquier comentario público, solo los primeros 10 tendrán la oportunidad de hablar en la reunión.
