A dedicated educator from Lincolnton, Georgia, I am a proud graduate of Lincoln County High School (Class of 2007). I earned a Bachelor's Degree. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. My passion for teaching began at an early age and has guided my journey as both a lifelong learner and a committed advocate for children and families.
During my high school years, I actively volunteered with local organizations to support students in my community— experiences that shaped my dedication to nurturing young minds. Grounded in my faith in God, I view teaching not only as a career but as a purpose-driven mission to make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of children. I believe that every child deserves a supportive, engaging learning environment where they feel valued and empowered to grow.
My teaching philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child by building strong, meaningful relationships, providing differentiated instruction, and creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. I am deeply committed to helping my students grow into confident, compassionate, and capable individuals who contribute positively to their communities.
Beyond the classroom, I am an active and devoted member of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. (NSPDK)—an organization that reflects my core values as an educator and mentor. Through my involvement, I’ve had the privilege of working on initiatives that support academic excellence and personal growth among youth. Whether through scholarship programs, mentoring, or community outreach, I’m proud to help guide and inspire the next generation.
Outside the classroom, my greatest joy is spending quality time with my beautiful daughter, Skylar. Being her mother is one of the most rewarding and motivating roles in my life. Whether we’re enjoying a quiet day at home, exploring new activities together, or creating fun memories, every moment with her is a blessing. I also cherish the time I spend with my family and friends, whose love and support continually encourage me to be the best version of myself, both personally and professionally. My faith, family, and students continue to inspire me to lead with love, teach with purpose, and serve with integrity. These personal connections enrich my life and strengthen my belief in the power of community, compassion, and lifelong learning.
