Each year, the Posse Foundation  awards their prestigious scholarship to high school seniors in a select group of 20 U.S. cities, including Atlanta.

Through a highly selective process, a limited number of students with leadership potential are selected to receive full tuition to one of the partner institutions.

For 2024, 12 APS students received the Posse Scholarship, one of whom is our own Carver EC senior Itavia McCord. Itavia will receive full tuition to Texas A&M in the fall and plans to major in Psychology.
