In collaboration with Empowered Readers, the young ladies of Hollis R.O.S.E. worked together to decorate free libraries for the community to encourage children to read.
During the Planting Ceremony on Wednesday, April 24, Hollis students (kindergarten through 2nd grade) wrote stories of their own and participated in readers theatre. They also enjoyed stories read by “Stan the Man” of Leap For Literacy, and they each received a book from his “Read ‘N Roll” bus!
