Upper School students enjoy new technology contributed by AT&T and Westside Future Fund

Lü Interactive Playground at Hollis Innovation Academy Community Meeting On Friday, August 16, Upper School students (5th - 8th grades) gathered in the gymnasium for an exhilarating Community Meeting, the first of the 2019-20 school year. Unlike most Community Meetings, this one was largely conducted with the lights off, as students were officially presented with an impressive donation from AT&T and Westside Future Fund: two brand new Lü Interactive Playground systems!

The gift was made to support STEM-based education at Hollis, a continued commitment from both organizations, as AT&T gave $200,000 towards the $16.4M pledge from Westside Future Fund.

The energy was electric, as students enjoyed math challenges using the interactive playground, while the Hollis Community cheered enthusiastically. Amog those in attendance were Stephanie Johnson Hardy of AT&T and Cristel Williams of Westside Future Fund (pictured below).
