On Wednesday, October 16, prior to the EL Education National Conference in Atlanta, Hollis welcomed more than 70 visitors and educational leaders from around the country for a Pre-Conference site visit. After being welcomed by Student Ambassadors, visitors engaged in a full day of activities, including teacher panels, student, panels, classroom visits, PLC (Professional Learning Communities) observations, and discussions.

Hollis is the only EL Education School in the Atlanta Public Schools, and served as one of several professional development site seminars, as thousands of educators from schools across the country visited Atlanta for deep learning around the 3 Dimensions of Learning.

Dr. Ford and several teachers also presented in some of the national conference sessions designed to engage other educators in deep conversations around assessment, curriculum, culture, and leadership.
