2019 CCRPI Data is Released

Growth at Hollis Innovation Academy The Elementary School 2019 CCRPI increased by 1.1 point. Despite a slight decrease in the Middle School CCRPI, we saw an increase in English/Language Arts (ELA) across the board.

After 3 years of growing grade levels and renovations, Hollis has fully grown into a PK-8 school, and looks forward to continued growth in 2020, more improvement in reading with an intense focus on literacy, and overall improvement in academic performance.

Hollis has seen a steady CCRPI increase since it opened at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. When Bethune Elementary School closed in 2016, it was one of the lowest performing schools in the Atlanta Public Schools District.

Hollis Innovation Academy CCRPI Growth


*Hollis was formed in 2016 following the closing of Bethune Elementary School, which at the time, was one of the lowest performing schools in the district. Students began the 2016-2017 school year in the former Kennedy Middle School building, now known as Michael R. Hollis Innovation Academy.
