Ms. Tiffany M. Ragin
Ms. Tiffany M. Ragin, daughter of Timothy and Racheal Ragin, is a graduate of Columbia High School (1994) in Decatur. She is also a graduate of Fort Valley State University (1998) with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education: ELA and Social Studies, Brenau University (2000) with a Master’s degree in Middle Grades Education: ELA and Science, and Lincoln Memorial University (2004) with an Educational Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and is currently a Doctoral student at Lincoln pursuing another degree in Educational Leadership.
After a childhood of loving to help others and wanting to become a teacher, Ms. Ragin entered the education field with Atlanta Public Schools in 1998. Since then, she has touched the lives of over 5,000 students during her tenure with the district. She has taught at J.C. Young Middle School (1998-2007), was an Instructional Coach at both Sylvan Middle School and Bunche Middle School (2007-2011), worked as a Title I Specialist in the district (2011-2012), became Assistant Principal at C.W. Long Middle School (2012-2018), and is currently the proud Principal at Dobbs Elementary.
In addition to her aforementioned jobs, she has served on several leadership committees and held several leadership roles where her work has impacted all stakeholders --- parents, students, teachers, and staff. Because of her hard work and dedication, she currently serves as a mentor to several aspiring leaders.
