Atlanta Public Schools (APS) is working toward our Return+Learn Phase II reopening plan, and we want to ensure that you are fully informed and prepared for this next phase. Our decision-making process has been rooted in science and data with clear touchpoints based on guidance from the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Department of Public Health and recommendations of local, state, and national public health officials.
As part of our plan, APS will bring a select group of students back for in-person learning starting on Monday, October 26, contingent on the continued downward trend of the spread of COVID-19. The input and feedback from parents, staff, and other stakeholders has been and continues to be an important part of our reopening process.
Below you will find helpful information about our Phase II reopening plan. We appreciate your engagement and ask that you continue to work with us to ensure a successful Phase II reopening.
