Parent/Caregiver Reminders
One of the things that makes KIPP unique is the power of our team and family. Please help us maintain safe bus routes by:
- Contacting local government agencies to report unsafe conditions (broken traffic signal, uneven sidewalks, unattended animals, or suspected criminal activity).
- Ensuring that scholars are accompanied to and from bus stops.
- Ensuring that scholars only ride the bus they are assigned.
- Reminding your scholar(s) to follow instructions provided by bus drivers.
- Reminding your scholar(s) to be kind and courteous to other teammates while riding the bus.
- Reminding your scholar(s) to respect the bus by following the bus rules.
- Picking up your scholar at the last stop of the bus route or at the school if you miss your pick-up at the assigned stop.
- Keeping your contact information (i.e., phone number & address) updated with your school’s Main Office so you can always receive messages and notifications in a timely manner.
- Contacting your school’s Main Office to share concerns or opportunities for improvement related to bus services. With your continued partnership, our scholars will arrive to and from school safely.
