Beecher Hills Elementary School
Beecher Hills Elementary is a Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school in the Cascade Community. Beecher Hills is a part of School Reform Team 1 of the Atlanta Public School System. Beecher Hills Elementary School was erected in 1958 during the tenure of Superintendent Dr. Ira Jarrell.
The school was built to accommodate 500 students in grades K-7. In the 1980’s, the organization of Beecher Hills was changed from K-7 to K-5. In the late 1990's, Pre-Kindergarten was added to the curriculum.
The original building was expanded to include clusters for upper and lower grades.
During the 2018-2019, Beecher Hills went under major renovation to continue its Legacy of educating children, growing our community and doing more! In the 2019-2020 School year we entered into our newly renovated building where a Gymnasium and Auditorium has been added.
