    Kourtney Mosley has been fortunate to have the support of her family, friends, and school administrators, all of which have positively impacted her to become the young lady she is today.  She has had an excellent and consistent academic record along with achievements in various school clubs/organizations. Some of her inspirations have been her community, family, and desire for better. During her matriculation at Booker T. Washington High School, Kourtney has not only received numerous awards for her outstanding academic achievements but she has been the Valedictorian of her class for four consecutive years. As an innate leader, Kourtney has taken on several leadership roles. She has been the executive level president of the Student Government Association, treasurer of the Future Business Leaders of America and the president of the student bank, (Traditions Student Bank). Some of her proudest accomplishments have been earning the title of Battalion Commander in the JROTC Department as a junior, when the position is reserved for a senior, scoring the highest on many state exams, and being the only student from Washington High School to receive the prestigious Posse Full Tuition Leadership Scholarship. As a result of her hard work and perseverance, Kourtney has been accepted into several colleges/universities such as Brandeis University, Alabama A&M University, Jackson State University, etc. After much contemplation, Kourtney has decided to further her studies at Brandeis University this fall and major in Mathematics. Her favorite saying is "Success Is My Priority".
