Located at the former Bethune Elementary on Northside Drive
Beecher Hills Elementary is a Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school (relocated for renovations) in the historic Vine City Community at the former campus of Bethune Elementary. Beecher Hills is a part of School Reform Team 1 of the Atlanta Public School System. Beecher Hills Elementary School was erected in 1958 during the tenure of Superintendent Dr. Ira Jarrell. The school was built to accommodate 500 students in grades K-7. In the 1980’s, the organization of Beecher Hills was changed from K-7 to K-5. The original building has now been expanded to include clusters for upper and lower grades. During the 2018-2019, Beecher Hills will go under major renovation to continue its Legacy of educating children, growing our community and doing more!
