Welcome to the Luther Judson Price Middle School. Price is home to the mighty Wildcats!

With roots as one of the few high schools for African Americans in Atlanta, Luther Judson Price became a middle school in 1987. Our community is undergoing extensive renovations as new housing communities and businesses are being built. Just as the neighborhood has changed over the last five years, so has Price. We are a member of the new Carver STEAM Cluster. We receive students from Slater Elementary School. Our students feed into Carver STEAM High School. 

Purpose Built Schools are APS Partner Schools.

Price Middle School is part of Purpose Built Schools. These neighborhood schools are managed by a non-profit organization that is accountable to the Atlanta Board of Education. This partnership combines the best of traditional public schools with the flexibility of charter schools. It offers an innovative approach to learning that puts all of our students on a path to success. Every student in our attendance zone is eligible to enroll.

Price Middle School is a positive family learning environment with an empowered, communicative, cohesive, united staff working with mutual respect and collaboratively committed to motivate and encourage students to strive for academic excellence so they can be productive, successful citizens for their global future.
