Welcome Letter from Dr. Franklin

Dear Beecher Families,

Welcome back to a new and exciting school year in the Beehive!! We hope your summer break was filled with memorable moments with family and friends. As we prepare to embark on the 24-25 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all the new Beecher Bees, as well as our returning families. Our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year, and we are eager to see our halls buzzing with the energy and enthusiasm of our students.

This year, we have several exciting initiatives and programs planned to enhance the educational experience for our Busy Bees as we continue “growing greatness”. We are committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Here are a few important updates and reminders as we start the school year:

1. First Day of School: Our first day of school is August 1st. School begins promptly at 7:15am, so please ensure that your child arrives on time and is ready to learn.
2. Open House: Join us on July 31st from 9am-11am for Open House. This is an opportunity for your, family to meet your child’s teacher, receive information about transportation, purchase Beecher swag, and receive other pertinent information. New families, please join me at 8:30am so that I may take you through all things Beecher.
3. Kindergarten Orientation: Our Kindergarten Orientation will be held on July 10th from 9am-2pm.
4. School Supplies: A list of required school supplies is available on our school website and in Class Dojo.
5. Communication: We believe that open communication between home and school is key to a successful school year. Please make sure that we have your most up-to-date contact information. You can stay informed about school events and important updates through Class Dojo, our website, and our social media channels.
6. Volunteering: We welcome and encourage parent involvement at Beecher. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mr. Estes at christopher.estes@atlanta.k12.ga.us for more information and opportunities.

As we look ahead, our primary goal remains the same: to provide a high-quality education that prepares our students for success. We are excited to partner with you in this important work and look forward to a fantastic school year filled with growth, learning, and new adventures. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. Together, let's make this year the best one yet for our Beecher Bees!

Warm Regards,
Dr. Tiffany Franklin
