• Dear Parents of Gifted Students,

     

    Welcome to another exciting year at Morris Brandon. We have the great pleasure of teaching your children who have been identified as participants in the program for the gifted. The Challenge program at Morris Brandon incorporates the *State ofGeorgiaand The Atlanta Public Schools Standards for the gifted. The International Baccalaureate Program, with its emphasis on using the inquiry approach, allows students to research a variety of theme based units. Embedded in our program are opportunities to develop skills researched by Dr. Howard Gardner (The Theory of Multiple Intelligence) including verbal, math and spatial logic as well as skills involving interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. Students will enhance their love of learning through exploring, analyzing, and discovering patterns and relationships across disciplines both independently and in small groups.
