Dear Cleveland Avenue Elementary School Family,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the PROUD Principal of Cleveland Avenue Elementary School. I am both humbled and honored to lead a school with such a strong sense of community and unwavering dedication to its students.

I hold a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Education Leadership, and a Specialist in Education Leadership degree from the University of West Georgia. Additionally, I earned my doctoral degree from the University of Georgia. With 17 years of experience in education, I have spent 6 years as a classroom teacher and 11 years in administration. During this time, I have served students in grades K-8 as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal.

As an instructional leader, I am eager to bring my skills and experience to Cleveland Avenue Elementary School. I firmly believe that all students can learn and be successful with the right resources and support. My mission is to support our staff and teachers by building their capacity to provide the best educational experiences for our Cleveland Avenue Scholars.

Building strong connections with students is at the heart of my educational philosophy. I believe that fostering positive relationships enhances academic engagement and creates a climate and culture of learning that benefits everyone.

I am truly thankful for the opportunity to serve the scholars of the South Atlanta cluster at Cleveland Avenue Elementary School as your PROUD Principal. Please know that I am committed to continuing our school's upward trajectory of achievements and look forward to creating many more partnered successes with our wonderful community.
