Grandparent’s Day is taking place on Sunday, September 7, 2025. To celebrate, we are inviting our grandparents to take part in a luncheon with their grandchildren during the week of September 2, 2025.

PK	Tuesday	9/2/2025	10:50am – 11:20am	Soft tacos, Mexicali corn, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese	Meals for guests are $5 each. Please have exact change. Students eat school lunches for free. Guests are free to bring a meal of their own if they prefer.

1^st	Wednesday	9/3/2025	10:15am – 10:45am	Chicken nuggets, creamy mashed potatoes, green beans, and a dinner roll
2^nd			11:45am – 12:15pm
3^rd	Thursday	9/4/2025	10:45am – 11:15am	Chicken Alfredo pasta, mixed vegetables, kale salad, and garlic bread
4^th			11:55am – 12:25am
5^th	Friday	9/5/2025	11:50am – 12:20pm	Pizza, steamed broccoli, and a garden salad
Students in multiple grades (PK-5)			10:30am to 11:00am or 11:30am to 12:00pm	Pizza, steamed broccoli, and a garden salad

The salad bar is available daily. Fruit, juice, and/or milk are offered with every meal. Sweet Tea and Lemonade will be available for guests. Guests are also free to bring a meal of their own to enjoy with their grandchildren if they prefer.

Each student may have up to 4 guests (2 sets of 2 grandparents) .

If you have students in multiple grade levels, we will only pull those students from class on Friday, September 5, 2025, for their grandparents’ luncheon.

Dismissal Updates

Please note the following updates regarding dismissal:

PK-2 students are not allowed to walk home alone or with older students.

Dismissal changes will not be accepted after 2pm Monday – Thursday

Dismissal changes will not be accepted after 12:15pm on Friday

All dismissal changes must be made with the main office. Please contact someone there at 404-802-4050.

Early dismissal ends at 2:30pm Monday –Thursday

Early dismissal ends at 12:45pm on Friday

If you arrive early to pick up a student from the after-school program, you must speak to a member of the after-school team to do so. The carpool team will not be able to retrieve that student for you. The students are in their care at that time of day and must be checked out by a member of the Boys and Girls club staff.
