Mr. Miles is the proud Principal of TH Slater Elementary School. Prior to serving as Principal of Slater, Mr. Miles served in the following roles:

2018 - 2022: Principal - Thomasville Heights Elementary School

2017 - 2018: Dean of Academics - Thomasville Heights Elementary School

2015 - 2017: School Effectiveness Specialist - Georgia Department of Education

2014 - 2015: Instructional Coach - Margaret Fain Elementary School

2011 - 2014: Instructional Coach - Atlanta Public Schools' Office of Special Education

2005 - 2011: Middle Grades Mathematics Teacher - Henry McNeal Turner Middle School, Ivy Preparatory Academy, and The B.E.S.T. Academy

Mr. Miles holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Marketing, a Master's of Science degree in Educational Research, and an Educational Specialist's degree in Educational Leadership. All of Mr. Miles' post-secondary education was completed at Georgia State University. 

Mr. Miles' professional interests include school turnaround work, building leadership capacity in other educators, and systems thinking. His personal interests include gardening, reading, listening to music, watching films, and riding his motorcycle.
