Ms. Jaqueline Henry

A product of public schools, Ms. Henry understands the transformational power of a nurturing school environment committed to meeting learners’ needs. A proud graduate of Fisk University with a BA in Political Science/Public Administration, she credits the university with further emboldening her sense of social justice. This carries over in her desire to see all children have access to a quality education. Ms. Henry earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kennesaw State University. Upon completion of the Educational Leadership program with Metro RESA, Ms. Henry has returned to KSU as an Ed. S candidate.

Dr. Mary McCleod Bethune professed that faith is the first factor in a life devoted to services and that with it, nothing is impossible. She promoted the ideas of having hope, love, and self-pride; developing confidence in one another and thirsting for education.  With over 20 years of service, Ms. Henry understands that this is our work for the students of T.H. Slater Elementary and is honored to be a part of it.  It is her goal to use her knowledge and experience to strengthen the school’s MTSS program to support all stakeholders in closing the achievement gap.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the MTSS program at TH Slater, please contact Ms. Henry at JHenry@PBSATL.org
