What is a School-Parent Compact?
-
As a Title I school, Hutchinson Elementary School and our families agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement, as well as describes how the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the state’s high standards.
The Hutchinson Elementary School (HES) School-Parent Compact is a written agreement between our school community and parents. This compact explains how the school administrators and teachers, students, and families will work together to make sure all our students reach and maintain grade-level standards. Please review this School-Parent Compact with your child. The School-Parent Compact will be discussed with you throughout the year at different school-family events as we work together to help your child succeed in school.
Jointly Developed
The parents, staff and students at Hutchinson Elementary School developed this School–Parent Compact in agreement and collaboration for the goal of academic achievement and student success. Our School-Parent Compact is reviewed and updated annually based on parent input.
We value this input, and our parents are welcome to contribute comments at any time.
