    Greetings Panthers!

I am Natasha Battle Evans your ELA Coach for CCES. I am a Native of Birmingham, Alabama. In 2003, I began my professional career in the field of Education in the state of Georgia. Over the course of my career, I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I have served as an Instructional Site Facilitator. As an Instructional Site Facilitator, I had the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and instructional staff which allowed me to provide effective leadership and support in order to implement a standard based curriculum where best practice strategies were used to improve teaching and learning for the overall goal of increasing student achievement. I am a firm believer that education should be full of experiences and equitable opportunities. “Tell me and I won’t remember… Teach me and I will remember… Involve me and I will learn.”

In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family and friends through traveling and adventuring to new places around the Atlanta area. My hobbies are reading, dancing, trying new restaurants and learning how to apply make-up. As a proud member of CCES, I look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders in order to “Increase Life Chances” for all students.
