As a mother of 3 with our eldest in 1st grade, my family has quite a few years ahead of us as members of the VHE community. I'm excited to serve as the PTO Secretary to support our growing body of teachers, administrators, staff, children, and parents alike. While my professional background is in HR, I previously volunteered at my children's parent-led cooperative preschool as a member of the Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the DEI Committee, and a member of the Personnel Committee for a combined total of 4 years. I consider it a privilege to be a part of VHE's current PTO Board of Directors to help shape the culture of our school's identity, making it an ever-evolving place for our children to not only become outstanding scholars but, more importantly, incredible members of our beautiful community.
