I am excited to serve as Director of Teacher Engagement for the 2025-2026 school year.  My daughter Sarah is in 3rd grade at VHE, and my son Liam (a VHE grad) is in 6th grade at Howard Middle.

VHE is an exceptional place, and I believe active community engagement is vital to supporting the school’s mission, staff, and students.  The PTO specifically plays an important role in lifting up, nurturing, and celebrating our amazing EdHOOcators.  Teacher Engagement serves up appreciation eats and treats throughout the year; funds grants, training, and materials; manages our Room Parent program; and spearheads the Teacher Appreciation Fund.

I spent 25+ years running corporate communications for Turner/WarnerMedia’s Latin American businesses.   These days my interests align closely with whatever my kids are into – friends, sports, crafts, reading, music, etc. Our favorite thing to do as a family is travel.
