I am excited to serve as the Virginia-Highland Elementary PTO’s Director of Teacher Engagement for the 2024-2025 school year.  My husband Natan and I have two Owls at VHE, Liam (5th) and Sarah (2nd).

VHE accomplished so much in its first year; it’s a credit to the entire community that in many ways it doesn’t feel like a new school at all!   Of course there is still work to be done as we continue to ramp up resources, facilities and engagement.  I’m particularly interested in how we can best support our teachers and believe the PTO has a vital role to play in lifting up, nurturing and celebrating our amazing educators. 

I spent 25+ years running corporate communications for Turner/WarnerMedia’s Latin American businesses.   These days my interests align closely with whatever my kids are into – friends, sports, crafts, reading, music, etc. Our favorite thing to do as a family is travel.
