Surveillance testing for staff is no longer required.
Atlanta Public Schools has always put and continues to put the health and safety of all our students and staff first by implementing comprehensive and robust mitigation strategies in alignment with the CDC and Georgia Department of Health recommendations.
Starting July 1, 2023, staff will no longer be required to participate in weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing. Staff will no longer need to complete a daily health attestation when first clocking in for work.
Starting August 1, 2023, weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing will no longer be available in APS schools or buildings.
