Summer Bridge 2024
  • SUMMER BRIDGE 2025 REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN APRIL.  STAY TUNED!

Maynard Jackson High School's Summer Bridge program is an in-person, three-day program designed to help rising 9th graders prepare for a successful first year of high school.  Students participate in fun and engaging workshop sessions with the goal of fostering a smooth transition to 9th grade.  Over the course of the three days, students will: have the chance to get to know students from other feeder middle schools, meet teachers, become familiar with the building, participate in mini-workshops on organizational and study skills, get an introduction to the core subjects, learn about the expectations of high school, and much more.

Summer Bridge will take place at Maynard Jackson High School one or two weeks before school starts (exact dates will be announced in April). Bridge is free and open to all rising 9th graders, but students must register in order to participate.

    PARENT UNIVERSITY

Summer Bridge will also include PARENT UNIVERSITY sessions! Learn about expectations, get Parent Portal access to Infinite Campus, tour the school, and discuss how you can help your child succeed in high school.  Registration for the Parent University sessions is included in the same registration link above.  Questions about Parent University should be directed to our Parent Liaison: amanda.oliver@atlanta.k12.ga.us.
