Maurice Harrison is one of the Assistant Principals at the Henry Louis Hank Aaron Academy. He has been an educator for nearly 20 years, serving in various capacities at every academic level, both nationally and internationally.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Neuroscience from Morehouse College, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Arts degree in Education from Central Michigan University in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Leadership certification from the University of West Georgia.
As an educator and counselor, he utilizes his education and experience to establish relationships and a culture that supports student growth and development of the whole child.
Mr. Harrison is a lifelong learner and is not only committed to supporting students to achieve optimal growth and development, but also that of adults.
