National Junior Beta Club Membership Requirements

All 4^th or 5^th grade students who are invited for membership must perform at or above grade level to be eligible for National Junior Beta Club membership. The academic requirements for membership are all A’s and B’s in all core subject areas (Reading/ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies). Requirements also include exemplary student conduct, with no suspensions /ISS/Reset on record. All eligible students must receive a positive recommendation from their homeroom teacher.                                                                                                                       

The requirements for membership in the National Junior Beta Club require that all students attend a minimum of three out of four meetings and one community activity/event. The character and behavioral requirements for membership ask that students demonstrate respect for authority figures and peers, high task participation, and maintain focused attention upon task commitment and completion. If students do not maintain grade and/or conduct requirements, students will be removed from National Junior Beta Club membership. 

Beginning with the 2024 – 2025 school year, all 4^th and 5^th grade students who meet the above criteria as of the final 2024 report card marking period, will receive an invitation for membership for the 2024 – 2025 school year. All current members must meet their membership requirements as of the final 2024 report card marking to remain a member.
