I am DePaula Woods, and I am looking forward to serving in the role of the ELA/Social Studies Instructional Coach for the 2022-23 school year! I’m privileged to have the opportunity to work with the teachers, other instructional staff and, most importantly, the students of Peyton Forest to ensure the implementation of the ELA and Social Studies curriculum as we focus on developing a love for learning.
I am a native of Atlanta, GA, and a proud product of the Atlanta Public School System! I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University, and both my Master’s and Educational Specialist Degrees from the State University of West Georgia. Additionally, I have Certification Endorsements in the areas of Reading Instruction and Gifted Instruction. I have spent the past 25 years in various capacities within the APS district, twenty-two of which have been spent here at Peyton Forest.
I am truly excited about the upcoming school year and I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to make a difference in the lives of our children!
