HOSA Needs Help
Posted by Shanna Miles on 4/29/2019 12:00:00 PMThe South Atlanta High School HOSA Chapter is a 501 © non-profit organization that has been improving the lives of thousands of high school students for over a decade. The South Atlanta HOSA International Leadership Conference is an event, for current HOSA members, which serves as a competition platform to allow students to compete against International HOSA members in medical skills. This 5-day event will be held June 18th-23rd, 2019 at the Colorado Springs Disney Resort in Orlando, Fl.
At the State Leadership conference, 15 South Atlanta HOSA Chapter students placed in the TOP 3, qualifying theme to compete in the International Leadership Conference against students from around the world. This in an opportunity our youth in the South Atlanta community do not get very often, as many do not have opportunities to travel outside of their neighborhoods and will likely not be given the opportunity again. However, due to budgetary restraints, we are experiencing a $7500.00 deficit to complete the cost of the trip for our 15 students traveling to Orlando, Fl.
We are ecstatic that 2019 will mark South Atlanta HOSA Chapter’s 10th consecutive year of Participation in the International Leadership conference, but we need your help to get there!
