* Requirements to Enroll in GED Classes
Requirements to Enroll in GED Classes
1. Registration, Orientation, and Testing can be completed every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
2. Complete the Online GED Application.
3. Schedule your testing appointment:
- Call the main office at (404) 802-3560 or
- Email: adulthelp@apsk12.org
4. There is no Cost; it's Free.

* What's Needed to Register: Students 18 & Older
Students 18 and Older
To enroll in the Atlanta Public Schools Adult Education Program, participants must meet the following requirements:
1.You must be at least 18 years old
2. Present valid identification (i.e. current state identification cards, current driver's license, passports, green cards and alien registration cards.
3. Attend the orientation session.
4.Complete enrollment information and the TABE assessment.
5. Assistance is provided to prospective participants during orientation, if needed.

* What's Needed to Register: Students Ages 16 & 17
Students ages 16 & 17
Individuals ages 16 and 17 years old may register with parental consent. Students under the age of 16 are not permitted to enroll in the program.
Registration for minors (16 and 17 years of age) is conducted at the main office, The Adult Education Center.
Both the student and the parent/guardian must be present with the following:
1. Withdrawal form from the last school attended, with a withdrawal date
2. Copy of the birth certificate (parent's name must be on the birth certificate) or valid ID
3. Guardianship documentation (if applicable)
4. Parent's/guardian's valid picture ID

GED Class registration is held on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday at 8:30am.

* Adult ESL Registration & Testing
ESL Registration and Testing
ESL registration and testing is held Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday at 10:00am.
