Mrs. Wanda Washington
Mrs. Washington received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Alabama State University. Additionally, she attended Central Michigan University where she obtained a Master of Science degree in Education and Instruction. She holds an Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgia Southwestern.
She currently works as one of the Student Support Specialists at Finch Elementary School. As a Student Support Specialist, her role is to support students and teachers in the MTSS Framework including Response to Intervention (RTI), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Section 504. She works closely with the administration team and the Student Support Team in order to ensure fidelity of programs and compliance with federal and state laws.
