Bullying and other forms of intimidation will not be tolerated in any form and are strictly prohibited by the Atlanta Board of Education Policy (JCD) and Georgia law (O.C.G.A.20-2-715.1).The term “bullying” shall mean:
1. Any willful attempt or threat to inflict injury on another person, whenaccompanied by an apparent present ability to do so; or2. Any intentional display of force such as would give the victim reason tofear or expect immediate bodily harm.All students in grades K-12 found guilty of “bullying” will be disciplined. Any student in grades 6-12 found guilty of “bullying” for the third time in a school year will be assigned to a non-traditional school/alternative school.
