Hello Benteen Families!

Mrs. Wilder has been an educator with Atlanta Public Schools for twenty years.  She has taught at Benteen for the last eight years.  She began her undergraduate studies at Albany State University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Shorter University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She also received a Masters of Education degree at Walden University. Mrs. Wilder has taught 5th grade, 2nd grade and 1st grade.  She also serves as a Cooperating teacher for college students pursuing teaching careers.  While employed with Atlanta Public Schools, Mrs. Wilder received a Reading Endorsement and is Orton Gillingham trained. She was also the Teacher Of The Year for the 2017-2018 school year.
