The primary purpose of General Accounting is to be as transparent and responsive as possible to our schools, teachers, vendors and oversight agencies. General Accounting is responsible for:
- Timely reconciliation of accounts to insure accuracy of financial entries
- Working with internal and external groups to produce required reports to satisfy local, state and federal requirements
- Reviewing accounting procedures to insure appropriate internal controls and separation of duties
- Working with IT to insure financial systems are reliable and updated regularly.
