Mrs. Alexandra Bosfield
Alex joins Atlanta Public Schools as a Coordinator of Innovation and Redesign, within the Department of Innovation, Improvement, and Redesign. She is committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to make certain that innovative strategies and solutions are available equitably across the district to promote and ensure student success.
Prior to joining the Department of Innovation, Improvement, and Redesign, Alex spent 17 years in the classroom in Minnesota and Georgia and two years as an Instructional Technology Coach for Kennesaw State University. Within her 17 years in the classroom, Alex taught in public, private and charter schools in grades K-8. She has worked as a general education teacher as well as a co-teacher in an inclusion classroom. When serving as an Instructional Technology Coach, Alex spent her time in both elementary and middle schools within Fulton County Schools. These experiences, combined, have allowed Alex to understand the importance of collaboration, communication, and compassion amongst all stakeholders – especially the students. For students to succeed, they must be a part of the process of creating equitable educational experiences. Alex strongly believes that widespread progress and success must begin with building foundational relationships based on trust, respect, transparency, and accountability.
Alex earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Major Concentration in Anthropology from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT; an M.Ed. in Technology in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA; as well as ESOL, Reading, and Teacher Leader endorsements during her teaching tenure in Georgia.
In her free time, Alex loves to travel with her husband, watch mysteries, read non-fiction books, try new restaurants in Atlanta, and test out her newly discovered green thumb.

Mrs. Tenecia Powe
A former research and development chemist, Mrs.Powe spent eight years as a science teacher for Clayton County Public Schools before becoming a Digital Learning Specialist for the district. Mrs. Powe also worked for Kennesaw State University as an education technology specialist before joining the Inman/Howard family as a school-based Instructional Technology Specialist. She is very excited about effecting change on a larger scale as the Coordinator of Innovation and Redesign.
Mrs. Powe grew up in both suburban Baltimore and rural Alabama. A lifelong learner, she has a degree in Chemistry from the University of West Alabama and received her Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia. In addition to having leadership, gifted, and Teacher Support Coach endorsements, Mrs. Powe is a Google Certified Level 2 Educator, an Apple Teacher, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator.
Mrs. Powe believes that all students deserve a quality education and that thoughtful, integrated technology is an effective way to meet the unique needs of all learners. She is married to a fellow educator, Marquis Powe, and they have one daughter, Ashlyn, and two furbabies, Tony & Creed.
