Ms. Tenecia Powe

A former research and development chemist, Mrs.Powe spent eight years as a science teacher for Clayton County Public Schools before becoming a Digital Learning Specialist for the district. Mrs. Powe also worked for Kennesaw State University as an education technology specialist before joining the Inman/Howard family as a school-based Instructional Technology Specialist. She is very excited about affecting change on a larger scale as the Coordinator of Innovation and Redesign.

Mrs. Powe grew up in both suburban Baltimore and rural Alabama. A lifelong learner, she has a degree in Chemistry from the University of West Alabama and received her Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia. In addition to having leadership, gifted, and Teacher Support Coach endorsements, Mrs. Powe is a Google Certified Level 2 Educator, an Apple Teacher, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator.

Mrs. Powe believes that all students deserve a quality education and that thoughtful, integrated technology is an effective way to meet the unique needs of all learners. She is married to a fellow educator, Marquis Powe, and they have one daughter, Ashlyn, and two furbabies, Tony & JiJi.

Ms. Stephanie Sanders

Ms. Sanders has over 10 years’ experience in creating meaningful professional leaning before joining the Innovation and Redesign team.  She has spent a combined 12 years as an English teacher in Florida and Georgia schools, five years as a school-based instructional coach, and a combined five years in professional learning roles in Fulton and Cobb County School district offices.  Additionally, she worked for nearly seven years at the Georgia Department of Education as an education program specialist then education program manager.  

Ms. Sanders earned her bachelor’s degree in English Education from Florida A&M University and a received her Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Georgia State University.  Additionally, she has earned her Teacher Leader and Coaching endorsements.  Stephanie Sanders is a facilitative leader who is passionate about cultivating relationships, developing others, and creating impactful programs as Coordinator of Innovation and Redesign. 

Ms. Sanders believes that innovative learning inside and outside the classroom can inspire and empower students to develop purpose and deep knowledge.  She grew up in Florida where she enjoyed the beach and spending time with family.  Because Ms. Sanders she loves books and promotes the importance of literacy, she has installed six Little Free Libraries across her community for people to come together and kickstart creativity and celebrate reading.  She is also the proud mother of a son who serves in the United State Air Force.
