Dr. Jennifer Toney has been teaching since 2000, and for 15 of those years, she taught grades 2-8. Dr. Toney has worked with Atlanta Public Schools as a Core Content Instructional Support Specialist and Assistant Principal at Springdale Park. The elementary school years are important and critical times for students. What happens during these years has a lasting impression on student growth and development. Her goal as the proud principal of SPARK is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school that meets the unique needs of all students in order for children to receive the best possible academic instruction.

Dr. Toney is originally from St. Louis and has been in Atlanta since 2002. She is married to Tiwon and they enjoy spending time with friends, family, and their golden doodles Ace and Blaze. She is a big football fan and loves the Mizzou Tigers, Georgia Dawgs, and the Atlanta Falcons. Dr. Toney loves reading and singing karaoke.
